What is "data"?
This term is used a lot in this project. So let's take a closer look at it.
Data essentially is information that is stored and collected.
In the context of this project we often talk about you protecting yourself from data abuse. What do we mean by that?
Many software firms like facebook, whatsapp and so many more track and collect your data. Some more than others. In addition some of them are more transparent than others about what they collect and what they do with it.
Transparency or not, you don't want these firms to know everything about you. That is why you have to practice data security/data protection. We really urge you to look into protecting yourself.
